Matthew Cody, a life-long comics fan, is the author of Powerless, a superhero fantasy for young readers as well as a second as-yet-untitled book, both of which will be published by Knopf beginning in 2009. Matthew's short works can be found in various places in print and online - such as McSweeneys.net and the upcoming The Leonardo Variations, an anthology of stories to benefit the prestigious Clarion Writers’ Workshop.
